The Perth Centre for Photography is pleased to present Consumed: Stilled Lives, a solo exhibition by Dawn Woolley (UK), opening 6 pm, Friday 19 February 2021. RSVP is essential – please RSVP here.

Woolley’s artwork is a feminist critique of consumer culture. She examines representations of gender in popular culture to draw attention stereotypesSculpted objects – made with a variety of materials including concrete, rubbish, blancmange, and rotting meat  function as portraits of different types of consumer. We are what we consume. She also creates public domain interventions in physical commercial advertising spaces in cities and in virtual ones on online social networking sites.
