With Matt Dunne of Tall Poppy Press
Turn your photo project into a tangible, prototype in this collaborative, hands-on workshop led by Matt Dunne of Tall Poppy Press.
You’ll begin by exploring how photobooks shape the way we tell visual stories, discussing narrative flow, structure, and the emotional resonance of image sequencing. With support from Matt and your peers, you’ll then edit and sequence a selection of your own images and create a handmade A5 photobook dummy using simple tools and materials.
More than just a draft, your dummy book can serve multiple purposes: a visual pitch for potential publishers, a test run to refine your project, or even the basis for a final limited-edition book. Along the way, you’ll learn practical, repeatable techniques so you can continue making dummies or artist books long after the workshop ends.
