Photobooks invite us to slow down and engage more deeply with a body of work - tangible, lasting objects that hold images, stories, and perspectives in one place. They become quiet archives of our time, preserving both personal and collective histories that might otherwise disappear into the ether.
Join us for an inspiring evening of rapid-fire, 5-minute talks on photobook projects, from early-stage ideas to fully realised works. Photographers and publishers will share the raw, real journeys behind their books, offering a glimpse into the creative process.
This isn’t your usual polished showcase. Instead, you’ll hear about the behind-the-scenes steps, creative pivots, and lessons learned along the way, from concept through to creation (and everything in between).
Whether you’re already working on a photobook, curious about how one comes together, or thinking of starting (or restarting) your own, this event offers rare insight and practical ideas, with some fresh inspiration.
