Kate Hulett is a Western Australian film photographer, artist, business owner, and creative producer.
 
 Her work is interested in the surprising amongst the mundane. With a deep curiosity in people, humanity and the frivolity of life (Hulett holds a BPsych), her works often feature irony, wit and humour to soften and connect with the viewer. She has a keen interest in environmental and social justice, and generating a sense of pride and connection within the community. Her work orientates around the bigger picture, and investigates actions that will improve our lived environment in the hope to inform a brighter future.

Taken at the northern edge of the world's longest city, the only sign of life in this desolate 'Great Australian Dream' suburb is an electronic flashing sign for a frozen American icon. Taken on 35mm film.
