Artist Statement / Description of artwork
Taken at the surf break; The Box, in Margaret River. This slab of a wave entices horror and beauty all in one. As the sun lowers in the west its rays shine through the lip, creating a magical backlit motion of water. All to fall loudly on a razor-sharp limestone reef, less than a metre under the water. Giving the wave it's infamous reputation, spoken throughout the surfing world.
