Christopher Allery is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. Making images which communicate a range of ambiguities has allowed Allery to contemplate among other themes: queer identity, religion, and spirituality.
 
Artist Statement / Description of artwork
After discovering an article about REMspace, a Silicon Valley startup that, on September 24, 2024, enabled communication between two people in lucid dreams—a breakthrough that could redefine dream research. This left the artist wondering: Could they one day share the intimate experience of a dream with someone else? This question reflects the artist's curiosity about the evolving boundaries of consciousness and connection, where even dreams might become a shared experience.
