Embracing the vulnerability to mistakes in the analogue process, West Australian creative Alex Miller is drawn to making unique images using old techniques. From arguing with airport security about the film bag not going through the x-ray machine to rearranging the laundry into a darkroom, the adventure of the process is what draws him to make these pictures. Shooting far away places, people doing things, documenting this time on earth, Miller’s work is held in institutes and private collections.
