Statement
The natural world is central to my art practice. In an effort to combine everyday life with art and nature, I layered an image of the landscape that surrounds me onto an image of a clean white sheet hanging out to dry on the clothesline. The clothesline was shot in the afternoon shadows and the landscape was shot on a bright misty morning, so the one appears to illuminate the other.
