Bio
Jeremy started as an industrial designer, first picking up a camera as a tool to record and explore ideas before developing a strong interest in the craft. That interest led into a short stint of commercial work, followed by a long period of experimentation and exploration of more traditional techniques in pursuit of
artistic fulfilment. With an evolving relationship, he now finds simple documentary photography - capturing people and places as they are - the most rewarding direction for his practice.
 
Statement 
My father Steve emerges from the sea at Wadjemup, sun-marked skin telling its own story of exposure and endurance. For my own history, the island has been a backdrop to time spent as a family in days marked by salt and sun. That water holds that history and in this image, I see the years carried by the sea itself.
