Bio
Marlo is the first to admit she doesn't spend as much time behind the lens as she would like. Studying at ECU unfurled her interest in form, light, and unexpected moments, and her photographs try to tell a quiet story about the world and our place in it.
 
Statement 
A dark and stormy afternoon at Reynisfjara in southern Iceland, a beach known for its black sands, basalt columns and unpredictable Atlantic waves. Glossy black pebbles lead down to the fine volcanic sand. Under dark skies and heavy mist, my camera rendered almost everything as black and white, creating ghosts of people and bold boundaries between land and sea.
