Bio
Bob is an amateur photographer, and he has enjoyed shooting film and digital over the past 50 years. His cameras have included an Agfamatic 200, Zenit 35mm TTL, Canon AE1, Contax T2, Sony RX100vii, Fujifilm X100v and X100vii. He lives in Perth, Western Australia and has been lucky enough to travel all over the world with his cameras.
 
Statement 
The silhouette of the lone pedestrian prompted me to take this picture. The image highlights the interplay of the striped façade, the crosswalk’s horizontal lines, and the road sign, creating a layered rhythm of patterns, while the solo figure introduces a human story that grounds the abstraction. The photograph captures not only a moment of urban life but also the way chance alignments of design, architecture, and movement can turn a street corner into work of art.
