Statement
Reimagining the night forest is a nocturnal wandering of the Southwest Jarrah Forest of Western Australia. This is the home of the endangered species, the Forest Red-Tailed Black and Cockatoo. The land is being cleared by mining companies, and the cockatoo's food sources and nesting sites are declining as a direct result. The photograph allows the audience to see the forest floor and canopy anew. Perhaps the way the Forest Red-tailed Black Cockatoo sees their home at night.
