SEE YOU IN THE CITYA portrait of Boorloo

The Perth Centre for Photography invites everyone to participate in See you in the City, a photo project aimed at creating a portrait of Boorloo/Perth.

This initiative will create an inclusive visual narrative, weaving together the diverse voices and stories within the Boorloo community.

Participate by joining artist Claudia Caporn on a photo tour, or use our guide for a self-guided journey through the city to capture the multi-dimensional stories, people, and places that surround us.

Bring along your camera; any camera is suitable, smart phones included.

The culmination of this project will be showcased in an online exhibition, a public screening, and a printed publication set for release in May 2024.

This workshop is inclusive and meets all accessibility requirements.

Participants may choose one or both options:

Option 1: Participate at your own pace with a self-guided photo tour. Check the map below for details.

Option 2: Join WA artist Claudia Caporn for a photo tour on 6 April, from 10 am to 11:30 am. Meeting point: Council House at 10 am.
