Artist Bio

Dragana creates artworks in the form of digital media which manipulate the colours , shapes and landscapes of the everyday into objects of beauty and appeal for the viewer.

With a past in art, fashion, textiles and photography, she uses the influence of these mediums to inform the work she produces.

Dragana graduated from Central TAFE in Fashion and Textile Design and has successfully put together events for both Fremantle and ArtRage ( now Fringe ) Festivals. Over the years, she’s had her work featured in group exhibitions and has been a finalist for the Mandorla Art Award, National Craft Acquisition Award, Iris Portraiture Awards, AGWA’s Art in Bloom, Melville Art Awards, Stirling Art Awards, Lawley Art Auction, PCP Collective to name a few.

Artwork statement

Proteas derived from the original photo of floral bouquet of proteas and natives, taken by Dragana and is part of protea series. Florals are one of Dragana’s favourite subjects. This original photograph was manipulated by couple of different applications.
